We went to Gypsy Gold Horse Farm, who breed and sell Gypsy Vanner horses, and took their tour. It was amazing! Dennis the owner gave the tour and was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. Their property was gorgeous and the horses were so sweet and beautiful. The tour is $20 per person but if you are horse fanatic like I am it’s so worth it.

They do a meet and greet with some of their horses and take you for a walk around the property. I love how sweet he was about sharing his deep knowledge about this great breed. Erin, his assistant, was just as sweet and full of information. I also like that he talks about the gypsy people. He shares his experiences about this misunderstood people. There was a farmers market and flea market that we went to right across the street at the fairgrounds. It had a lot of fresh produce but also typical flea market items. Bring cash. Many of the vendors do not take cards. We found this out when we went to buy apples. The vendor was so sweet tough and gave us 2 free baskets of apples! That was probably 6 lbs. of apples! He was so sweet. He gave the kids about 5 sliced apples he had as samples! It was so nice!

Park Review

Does not have a playground. Park is split in 3 sections. We stayed in the Sun section. This part of the park is not a fenced. We were put right by a very busy road. There is laundry and really nice showers. The laundry is the cheapest I’ve found yet. Alima loved their rec. hall. This is not a park for kids though as there is nothing for them to do. If you can adventure out that is best.
