Our Rig

Every rig has a name, it’s just that not everyone knows it. Ours is Gilly and the White Top.

Gilly: a truck or wagon, especially one used to transport the equipment of a circus or carnival

Gilly is our 2003 Chevrolet Suburban 2500. This 3/4 ton suburban is equipped with an 8.1 liter 496 cubic inch, gas guzzling monster of a motor. With a towing capacity of 12,000 pounds, she has no issues pulling our circus tent around the country.

She boasts seating for 8, which keeps space between all the kids. No one complaint about who’s too close to whom.

Gilly is also equipped with a Bose stereo system, autoride suspension, a DVD/Tuner TV, wireless headphones to block out the parents and Heated seats (that comes in very handy in climates we are not accustomed to).

The White-top 2 is our 2009 Palomino Puma 31BHSS travel trailer. With sleeping for 9 we don’t have to make anyone sleep outside. White-top 2 has two slides and has plenty of storage.

We have equipped the White-top with a 4G LTE cellular modem and a netgear wireless router for our internet needs and to keep Hal connected for with his clients.

At 39.5 feet, it is a pretty long travel trailer. But, Gilly hauls it without issue.
