Gulf Air Rv Resort Feb. 3 – 7, 2018

We ventured out to the beach and had so much fun. The sand was like fine powder almost like baking soda, fine. We found some shells. Alima found part of an abalone shell. It was so purple and shiny inside. Hal found one for me that was about 1/4 of the size of my pinky! It was so tiny.

Calvin was in heaven just laying in the sand. He loved playing and running up and down the beach. We did not have a plan for the sand that we brought home in pants and shoe. So that was kinda something we had to figure out.😀 The shops and restaurants looked so cool and fun but we didn’t have time to go to any. Parking at the Fort Myers Beach was a nightmare.
We kept trying to find parking and just as we would see an open spot 3 other people were in line for it. Hal went with us one day and got great video and photos then the next day he had to work so he dropped the kids and I off. The kids and I found a horseshoe crab that had washed up on the beach. That was neat! kept trying to find parking and just as we would see an open spot 3 other people were in line for it. Alima and Halim went so far out it was crazy. I had to keep calling them back because I was worried they were going to get swept away.P We all had so much fun. We brought lunch and snacks with us but I would really recommend bringing shade. There is NONE, which I should have known but you live and learn.

Park Review

This place had the tiniest spots and we were right next to the dog walk and that sucked because you could smell the dog urine. Eww! The laundry was really expensive. The bathhouse was dirty and needed to be updated really bad. Good thing was is that it was super close to the beach.
